Unicorn and the Raven/You have died

You find yourself standing in a black desert beneath a starry sky. Though it should be dark, you can see everything clearly and you have a moment to wonder about why you feel neither hot nor cold before you hear a hollow voice calling your name. Suddenly, you remember. Not exactly what happened to you, that part is a little bit confused, but you can suddenly remember your name and who you are. With that memory comes recognition, and the terrible, certain understanding of where you are. You've read about this place. This is the desert, the last desert, which means that the voice addressing you belongs to-

"You have come here once again," the hollow voice of Death reaches your awareness without passing through your ears, which you no longer actually possess.

You turn to face the direction your understanding tells you the voice came from, and there you see Death, a dark, shrouded figure holding a scythe whose blade gleams and sparkles in the starlight. Though you can't make out the face concealed within the robe, you see the scythe is clutched in a skeletal hand.

"You have come here many times, and many times you have refused to journey across the desert. It is not within my power to force you to make the journey, and to you it is permitted that you may attempt once more to correct your mistakes. But know that you will be sent back without the knowledge of yourself or your previous experiences. Will you walk the desert, or do you choose to return, and live your past journey over yet again?"

You aren't certian what Death is talking about, but you aren't certian that you want to be dead, either. It seems that for some reason you're being offered a chance to go back and make things right. Do you give up, and walk the desert in search of whatever may await you there, or do you begin again?
