Do you have any idea what is going on with Boromir's Quest? Every time I try to make a new page, it takes me to this stupid page which makes my type in a word before I can continue. Do you know what this is? Fruitbat

Categories-

• They make it easier to determine what story a page belongs to when the page is viewed out of context.

• They make it easier to determine how many pages belong to a given story.

Having unique templates for stories delivers both advantages... both there's nothing wrong with categorizing the pages as well, if you really want to do all that work. --Platypus 12:49, 15 March 2007 (EST)

Thanks. I don't really mind the work, because, for the most part, adding a category to the template will add each page to that category to. Personally, I think it'll also help to organize the wiki a bit, so that we don't just have pages with names that are meaningless without the rest of the story. Categories are not needed for Kitty in the Window or any adventure with a unique status bar. They already basically have a category all to themselves! Fruitbat

Hi Platypus,

You have been a great user on the system and I have given you sysop rights. This means that you can block users that are vandals on the system. If you would like to look up a user's IP address go to the Control Panel and use the tool there. Then go to special pages to go to the block IP form. Please use this feature sparingly. Blocks should only be used for users that are trying to destroy the site and not to censor content.

• Sometimes after you submit it takes you to an "create a wiki page". That is just a problem with the redirect and the block did work.

Thanks for hooking up the Rabbit Hole! I've started some of the basic begginnings of it, and will be working on it a ton over the weekend. Feel free to correct my spelling, make it funnier, add new things, whatever. After this weekend, when I'm happy with it, I'm going to start advertising it amongst my regular Discordian channels, and inviting everyone to play along. My hope is that someday it has more pages than the Smutty Sex thingy.. Olboyfloats

Is there any special code language that I have to/ought to know? I tried editing/adding a few pages to University Daze and accidentally broke at least two links.  :(

Is there an easy way to get to a page that gives some sort of tutorial on how all this works? I'm by no means a computer guru. Honestly, I'm rather clueless. Any help would be appreciated.
