All dragons originate from a single clan of dragons, living in the prehistoric swamps of North America. Some people have theorised that they were a off-shoot of the dinosaurs, but I have found no evidence to this claim. They fed mainly on small dinosaurs and ferns. However, when the dinosaur numbers dwindled, and eventually disappeared all together, the clan started to migrated to various different places though out the world. But, when man first discovered dragon, they fought, often to the death, over the dragons stealing there food, animals or, in rare cases, their brethren. This, combined with the Ice Age, led to a rapid fall in dragon numbers, and their retreat away from humanity.  It is said that each of the dragon clans in the world have adapted to their climate, with some developing powers like breathing fire, ice and telepathy, thought I cannot prove that claim.

You are about to enter a world. A world, not unlike our own. There are still us humans. And they still do things humans do. Lust, fear, fight, die. But there is one difference. Far away, in the most extreme corners of the world, from the deep, lush jungles of the Amazon to the frozen tundra of the artic, live the dragons. They are huge, flying reptiles. Very few people know anything about them, but I will diverge the little I know.

I will also pass on what information I have gathered about dragon reproduction. The male dragons are said to have a single, large penis-like appendage, instead of the two usually found on reptiles. They use internal fertilisation. The female dragons lay eggs, after about a month after fertilisation, and care for their young for about a year after birth, feeding them on their kills. Because of this, the females lack mammary glands. Finally, they are stated to speak a language of their own, passed down from father to son, and wrapped in secrecy. This, I cannot claim to be able to prove.

But I have rambled on for too long. First off, who do you wish to be in this world?

A Human Set to discover the secret world of dragons.

A Dragon One of the most mysterious and powerful creatures on the planet.
