“I have no idea what you‘re talking about. Who‘s Xi? Why are you even here?” Your response is lightning quick.

Hon gives you a strange look. You can tell he’s judging you, it’s in his eyes. Who is he to judge. You two are a male and female and yet you’re the one wearing pants. Your obsession over his younger brother is practically normal compared to his self loathing of his man parts! You’re fine, perfectly fine! You are a normal girl, the most sane person in the group, you just happen to find Xi’s arrogance and hot temper cute, like a puppy spilling over  a glass of milk. Yeah.

“Uh… no one ever gets that puppy milk metaphor, Rel.”

“Huh, I didn’t say-”

“You’re easy to read…”

“Anyway! Let’s go to Dunbarton!” ''Whew. That was close.''

Wanting to escape the topic, you begin marching down the hill, Hon’s footsteps right behind you. “If you say so!”



The walk down is a bittersweet one. You were just starting to get used to it again, the place where you, Hon, and Xi had spent every day at, planning games and adventures. The rock formations near the bottom were good for hide-and-seek, you knew this fact well. The tree was also a good spot, if only you knew how to climb it. All in all, this was your not so secret base, where the gang could hang out and not worry about anything else other than the possibility of falling off of the cliff.

You wanted to come back some day, to relive those memories.

But that’s for later, this is now.
