"We travel through the forest."

From Create Your Own Story

The road becomes noticeably unstable as you enter the forest trail. The carriage rocks violently every three seconds or so. The air is damp and thick with the smell of decomposing leaves. Soon night is upon you, the carriage driver stopped when the suns light first started to dwindle to light the candles mounted on either side of the carriage. You are still a long way from leaving the forest but the royal carriage drivers are under strict instructions never to stop when transporting royalty until the destination is reached, especially so when they are transporting the future queen of the land.

Suddenly you hear an echoing creek, followed shortly after by a loud cracking sound. The carriage comes to a halt. The carriage driver climbs off from the top of the carriage and inspects the cab "my sincerest apologies madam. But it appears one of the cart-wheels has been destroyed beyond repair." He says regrettably. You peek your head out from the side window to see the man inspecting the wheel "how did this happen?" You question the man. "The front-right wheel struck a jagged rock jutting out from the ground." He says, pointing down to the ground. You look down at the dirt beneath you as the carriage driver holds a candle down to the large rock in the ground, illuminating the broken wheel.

"What's the course of action malady?" He says. As You sit and think for a brief moment. You decide..

To send the driver to go find help while you stay with the carriage. You're miles from anyone, you should be safe.

To get out and walk. Escorted by the carriage driver.

To fashion an improvised wheel with your surroundings.
