The guy in the wifebeater and his buddies, though, watch you dress hurriedly, but don’t go.
“We’ll stick around here until close,” the guy says. “You come back after your drink, eh? We’ll close the place with style.”
You make a noncommittal noise and tug on your shoes. Stepping out through the curtain, you head down the stairs, noticing that the bouncer is handing people their coats, and Don and Dave are at a table still. They smile at you as you appear.
