Pokemon: Catch up to Jasmine

When I turned to face down the path, I saw Jasmine was already pretty far a head of me, so I ran to catch up. "What kept you?" she asked.
"I thought I heard Mespirit."
"Mespirit! No way!" She turned to look at the island, but it was already back to normal. "You must have been imagining it."
"I know what I heard."
"Hey, it's cool girl. But we need to get a move on if we want to reach Sandgem before night."
"Well, let's go then!" We started jogging, carefully avoiding any suspicious patches of tall grass and sticking to the main path. Occasionally we would stop for a break, but we made good time and soon the gate to Sandgem was in front of us.
