Talk:Rocket Town
From Cod
Magitek Factory is under Rocket Town, everybody knows that. But I have a few questions about it, seeing how I am rebuilding it.
Rocket Town is in Guardia, since it is rather close to Truce. Maybe I am wrong here.
But, does the country control the Factory? Like, is it funded by the government to develop and turn out magitek gear?
And if the government isn't funding the production of said armor, who is?
Lastly, is the factory a secret? (Even though most anybody that has spent anytime on the Cleft knows where it is.)
Or is it a well known place?
(Why isn't there any magitek armor in the magitek factory anyway?! O_o)

Ahem. From the website:
- In the world of FF6, this monstrosity of the Empire processed espers to extract their magical powers for use in Magitek Armor. Cataclysmic events sent the factory underneath the earth, never to be heard of again. But somewhere underground, in the Cleft, the abandoned factory continues its work, unaffected by the times.
Note "abandoned". I think they've basically shut down except for some defense mechanisms which still operate. They don't have any Empire to supply them with espers (if they did, Truce Militia would raid the place for sure... long ago) and therefore cannot produce more Magitek.
Citizens of Rocket Town may or may not know of it but it is not a major production facility. Or a minor one.

Well, thats that then. lol
Be aware, however, that that may not be the case once I am done with it. :D

Palmer and the Rocket
With the rocket being privately-funded and all, does Palmer still have anything to do with it? I ask, because when you step into the cockpit of said rocket, palmer's voice still gloats that he's 'rigged the rocket to take off'.
On a side note, Palmer isn't in Rocket Town anymore. I haven't seen him or Rufus there since I started work on the Magitek Factory. So unless there is some trigger somewhere for their appearance that I've missed, that comment about Palmer repeatedly getting hit by a truck may be wrong. :P
