Name: Kathryn (Kate) Marlowe
Occupation: Police officer
Description:
Marlowe stands at 5'4 and weighs 154 pounds. She has a slim athletic build. Marlowe has dark brown hair, about an inch too short to reach her shoulders. She has brown eyes and high cheekbones and, while not considered stunning by most, is fairly pretty. Her nose is slightly crooked after being broken in an accident while she was attending police academy. Marlowe wears the standard uniform of the Freebrough Police Department while on duty, and tends to favour functional trousers or shorts and Tshirts while off duty. She wears a plain silver ring on her left index finger.
Personality:
Marlowe is a good actor, and is able to project an air of strength and confidence, even in situations where she feels the exact opposite. She is usually a fairly cheerful person, though she takes her job very seriously. She believes strongly in doing good.
Brief History:
Kathryn grew up in a middle class family, her mother a schoolteacher and her father a police sergeant. She was raised to believe firmly in honour, the law and doing what was right, and she wanted nothing more than to follow her father into the police force. She did well in high school and college, getting good marks in both intellectual and sporting subjects and after graduation was accepted into a police academy. She did just as well here as in her previous education. She competed on the academy's target shooting and cross-country running teams and took up Taekwondo. It was during a sparring match that her nose was broken by her opponent. After graduating from the academy, she was posted to the FPD, where she's been ever since.
