Appearance:
Kaluta stands at 5'8, with a wiry physique. His thin body can be deceptive- while there's not much of him, what is there is all muscle, without an ounce of fat. He has stringy, shoulder length mid-brown hair, sharp facial features and slate gray eyes. While his skin colour changes quite often, it defaults to a deep, earthy tan. He wears a dirt-brown kilt, an antiquated set of webbing, a necklace made of lizard teeth and nothing else.

Personality:
Kaluta is proud, egotistical and avaricious. He has virtually no morals and is perfectly happy to cheat and doublecross anyone outside his own clan. To his clan members, he is completely loyal, and would defend them to the death. He considers himself quite the ladies' man.

Powers:

• Kaluta has a chameleonic ability. His skin can change colour to match his surroundings. If he stays still for long enough, he can even make his body temperature closer to that of the surrounding areas.
• Superfast coagulation- His wounds stop bleeding within seconds, unless they're serious.

As well as these powers, he's an excellent marksman and highly skilled at bushcraft. He's also lightning fast with a knife.

Background:
Boy was born into a small nomadic clan, wandering the wasteland. It was a harsh life, and many of his siblings didn't make it. He did though, and upon entering puberty was taken out on a hunt. If he survived and came back with a suitably impressive catch, he'd be given a name of his own and officialy be recognised as a man by the rest of the clan. Weeks passed, and eventually he returned, dragging in a crocodile-like lizard. He'd waited for days near its lair and eventually blown a poisoned dart into its mouth. Boy died that night, and Kaluta was born. Years passed, and Kaluta made his name as a hunter and warrior. Through skill and luck, he was able to stay alive for a long time, outliving many of his peers. This seniority gave him the right to command a warband. Kaluta chose a second in command, Gelar, and headed out to find either victims or employers, returning periodically to deposit their gains and recruit new fighters. Recently, he heard that soldiers were being recruited, and set off to find out more.

Equipment:

• A bottle of water and some food, mostly dried meats and fruits/vegetables.
• A Japanese military issue sniper rifle
• A machete
• Two home made knives. The look similar in design to bowie knives.
• A couple of packets of poisons, wrapped in plastic

Allegiance: Whoever can offer him the best deal.

Notes on Kaluta's clan:

There's a high mortality rate. People rarely make it past 25 and children die so often that they're not even given names until puberty. The clan is nomadic, and mainly gets sustenance through hunting and gathering. Attacking other groups or individuals for their supplies is not uncommon. Warbands of 15-20 people, led by an experienced elder warrior, are frequently sent out to gather resources including food, medicine, tools and women. These warbands will attack groups weaker than themselves or hire themselves out to stronger powers. Society within the clan is highly sexist with only men hunting, going out in the warbands or occupying positions of power. Women are expected to cook, care for the children, etc.
