MacGuffin RP- Colonel William Illis

Name: Colonel William Illis
Age: 48
Gender: M
Appearance: Somewhere around 6 feet tall, bald with blue eyes and a cavalier type beard and mustache. Greying black hair. Usually wears either military surplus clothes or, when adventuring, safari gear- shorts, shirt and pith helmet. Almost always carrys a swagger stick.
Personality: Stereotypical obnoxious Brit with about 20 tons of patriotism thrown in. He's the kind of guy who knows all the words to 'Rule Brittania' and seems to think repeating himself really slowly and loudly in English will make foreigners understand him. An avid hunter and adventurer.
Backstory: He used to be a colonel in the British Army but was discharged due to a little mishap involving a general's wife. That and they'd been looking for a way to get rid of him for a while. He was really annoying. After leaving the Army, he decided to live his dream and travel the world hunting and adventuring. It was during researching for an adventure searching for lost cities in Vietnam that he found out about the Chest. He abandoned the Vietnam adventure and got to work getting together a team of people to recover the Tchotchkes so he can get the Chest, which he will attempt to use to restore the British Empire to its former glory- and then some.
Other Notes:
- Somehow, his 'repeating himself really slowly and loudly in English' technique actually works most of the time.
- His team comprises of 5 other people, mainly ex-soldiers, who share his opinions and have often hunted/adventured with him before.
- He's a crack shot with a rifle or shotgun and knows how to fence
- He LOVES drinking tea or, if that's not available, gin and tonic.
