The Word Association Game is a thread in the Forum Gaming forum. It is notable for being the single largest thread on the Charas Forums, as well as one of the oldest.
Rules
The rules of the game are simple; you take the word given by the previous poster, and post the first word/phrase/sentence that you think of. Generally, posts are 3 words or less.
History
It was started by FFL2and3rocks on December 11, 2003. In its first day, it received about 17 posts, a large number at that time (even for a forum game). From there, it exploded into popularity - as of March 4, 2007, it has 8287 separate posts by a myriad of different users. This officially makes it the single largest thread on the Charas Forums, and it very rarely drops off the first page of Forum Gaming. Its post date also makes it the second-oldest active thread on the forums (with the first being Post a photo of yourself).
