Life In Hell

Life in Hell is a project of X_marks_the_ed's, which involves the daily life of Death and his miserable friends. It is not as dark as readers would believe at first. It is more of a giant parody, taking hits at anything that is either dead, dying, or should be dead. This includes television shows, news, internet fads, and much more. It may also contain small subplots involving characters in a non-parodic way.

The thread for the comic dies every so often, as only then does X_marks_the_ed feel the need to upload more.

Characters

Death- the protagonist of the series. Death attempts to simply get by each day with his stingy attitude. His anger derives from his image among the mortals and his horrible youth. There are three versions of Death used in the series. First is the classic Death we know today, with the scythe and black robe. Second is his youthful self, in which he displays a deep depression that seems to have scarred his social ability. Finally, his human self, before he died in the first place. We do not know much yet about the alive Death, but it can be certain that his attitude is no different than his attitude in current self. Mortique, (pronounced Mort-eh-kye) - a lazy friend of Death, whom after having his pencil broken, does absolutely nothing at his desk. He tends to be a little immature, yet a voice of reason to many. He is known for being the tough one in certain situations, and can sometimes be a link between Death and Karen. Karen- Not seen until the second story arc for an unknown reason, Karen is Hell's "prostatute" so to speak. She angers very easily, and seems only intent on making Death's life miserable.
