Ashibe and Shin: Dimensional Glitch is a the second chapter of the Ashibe and Shin Trilogy (crossover of Shonen Ashibe and Crayon Shin-chan)

Eddie and his mother are preparing to perform at the local Mother Chef Day festival. Each mother and son is required to create an original cuisine. When Eddie learns that they lost the competition when she was disqualified he becomes determined to make it up by put up a cooking video. While preparing for the competition, Eddie's memory comes back to haunt him. It seems that after leaving Ashibe's world, Eddie did not get a chance to fully realize about Pepeppe before they return their world. At first, this depression causes Eddie to convince Shin to make a visit to Ashibe's world with support from Chiro because of missing Goma-chan, but it will ultimately break his heart if Patty-sama cannot approve his friendship before Eddie and Shin head for Ashibe's world.
Meanwhile, uncontrollable destructive force is driving a void between Ashibe's world and Shin Chan's world, interfering their chances to return back to their world. Because Lilo is so concerned about wining the competition Josh begins to notice the dimensional glitch and does not understand that the dimensional glitch is the cause which now Eddie and Shin are stuck in Ashibe's world; Josh is working on a solution, trying to get them both back to their world and completely neutralize the glitch. Eventually, Josh-chan notifies Eddie and Shin that based on the results of neutralizing the dimensional glitch they will no longer visit Ashibe's world. Eddie gets increasingly depressed at the fact that this is their final visit to Ashibe's world as Shin understands their friendship with Ashibe will always be remembered. To make matters worse Josh-chan is having problems creating the dimensional chamber due to the fact that he does not have the proper technology to build it and has to try neutralize the dimensional glitch using a color spectrum generator. However, just before the dimensional glitch is neutralized, Ashibe and Shin made their goodbyes and Josh-chan finally completes the dimensional chamber. Then, Eddie has another one of his depressions and accidentally kisses Pepeppe, this upsets him so much that he decides to run away, believing himself to be "too little for friendship". Patty-sama back in Shin's world finally realizes that something she did is terribly wrong with Eddie and in the middle of Josh-chan charging up the dimensional chamber she calls her son to come home.
As Eddie attempts to run away Shin and Ashibe desperately try to get him back so that they could return him and Shin back to their world. Eddie then has another emotional heartbreak which causes him to crash the space ship in the Nepal region, Chit Chan and Pepeppe rides over to the crash site on Yeti, finds that dimensional glitch is neutralized and struggles to get him into Josh`s dimension chamber. Unfortunately, Eddie and Pepeppe says goodbye by the time he goes in the machine and the dimensional glitch is neutralized with no chance to visit Ashibe's world again, but with Josh-chan's (and everyone else's) support for him, the dimensional gateway to Ashibe's world is restored, they all figured that friendship restores both worlds and there is a happy never ending party.
