The Brother of Haruhi Suzumiya/Chapter 1

As usual, everyday after school I was always late for each session of the SOS Brigade. Why did Haruhi have to drag me to create this nonsense? From the beginning, I did not believe in Santa Claus and the Santa at the department store I knew was fake. Haruhi were never interested talking to normal people, she only talks to aliens, espers, and time travelers. I wanted to tell her that I only talk to normal humans. It would've been better to stay out of the SOS Brigade.

"You're here. Come on in."

I thought she never had interest to talk to normal people. I assume this boy had these so called godlike powers just as she had.

"My name is Naota Suzumiya."

"It's nice to meet you Naota. My name is Mikuru Asahira."

"Naota will be my replacement as Brigade Leader, for now he's my trainee as I teach him how the Brigade operates. And a warning, If anything happens to my brother will face the consequences."

Naota and Mikuru were talking to each other.

"Haruhi asked me last night 'Did you do this?'"

All of this as I hear from Naota was pure nonsense.

"Naota, come sit next to me."

Having the little brat replace her as Brigade leader was unacceptable. I had to get him away from her to teach him a lesson.

The next day after school, I waited for him at the restrooms. It's was the perfect timing. I had to get him away from Haruhi before she finds out what I was doing.

"What's are you doing, Kyon?"

I punched him and then stabbed slash him everywhere accept through his chest. If I stabbed him there, he would die. I was finally done with him, washed up and went to the Brigade headquarters. I left him there because no one would be near him. Naota Reaching the nurse's office for medical attention. He like his sister are just figment of my imagination. Sooner or later, they'll both will just go away along with the SOS Brigade and my life will return to normal like the way it should.

"Where were you? You're late, Kyon.?"

"I had to do something important."

Haruhi did not look too happy. I assume that she would expect her brother would be coming much late before the Session of the Brigade adjourns.

She asked me.

"Kyon, Where's Naota?"

I started to act like Cain from the Book of Genesis.

"I'm not his keeper or his brother."

Suddenly, we started hearing coughing.

"I thought the whole school went home."

I started to hear the voice of that little brat.

"Haruhi help me."

"Hey, Naota. You're late."

I knew Haruhi started to get suspicious.

"Big sister please help."

I knew I was dead meat. Haruhi was horrified seeing her brother saturated in blood, his clothes was soaked in it, it was streaming down his face and dripping to the floor from his fingertips.

"Haruhi."

He finally collapsed. Haruhi screamed realizing what I did to him.

"Naota!!!"

"The doctors said that he'll be okay. Right? Haruhi?"

"I will never forgive you for what you did to my brother."

The authorities came in.

"That's him. He's a foreigner who somehow snuck into this country."

And that was it. Not only I was kicked out of the Brigade, I was kicked out of Japan. I'm now free from all this nonsense.
