The Leverkusen Institute of Paleocybernetics is the secret lair a private research facility which serves to support the studies and investigations of Darwin Prætorius von Corax.

Originally established in The Valley of Reeks, The Leverkusen Institute of Paleocybernetics is now hidden based in the darkest depths of The Deforested City. In addition, the Institute for a time operated a temporary satellite facility in The Hamlet of Mark, on the edge of The City At the Centre of Itself, providing contract services to The Great Azure Empire; this contract has since ended and the Institute's Mark Hamlet outpost closed.
