Bellamy! at the Disco is a phrase used by users of Muselive when someone - usually sunburnt_atheist - created a story so full of bullshit, it's actually believeable. These stories/articles are called Triple B stories - Bullshit But Believeable.

The UK Shows Triple B Story

THE ever OTT Muse return to the UK this autumn with a huge UK tour (starting in Northern Ireland, then Scotland, then moving down to merry ol' England, finishing with three shows in London. As they prepare, NME has been speaking to bassist Chris Wolstenholme about the plans and preperations the band have been undertaking.
"We love playing in the UK" remarks Chris. "Obviously, it's the best place, 'cause it's our homeland, but the UK fans are always better". Muse originally planned to dangle a UFO over the crowd, but was scapped due to the unsafe criteria of the band. "That was a shame", says the bassist, "we want to be different this year. We have a few ideas now anyway. For the Nottingham show, we might all dress up as the Merry Men, and Matt can be Robin Hood. There seems to be a big thing for him at the moment. And the Manchester gig? Dunno, maybe we will dress as Oasis or something.
Wolstenholme is also looking forward to playing in Scotland. "The fans were amazing at T on the Fringe", he says, "the crowd was electric". "In Scotland, we are definatly going to wear a kilt. Well, me and Matt are anyway, [Dom] refuses to, he has this thing for tight colourful trousers, itmakes him look kinda gay"
"London, however, we're gonna do something big. There was a poll on the bus the other day, and we all chose a song from Hullabaloo (b-sides album, released in 2002), and Map of Your Head won. So we are playing that. And Morgan (Nicholls, 4th hand man) will dress up as a hobo, finding his way around the stage. It's going to be really funny. We've always been an over the top band, this time, we are going to be completly different."
Chris also talks about the new single 'Knights of Cydonia' released on November 28. "It's a great single, recieved really well in the US. I think it will do as well over here too. In the Sheffield gig, we are getting the actors and actresses from the video to come on stages on horses. That should be amusing."
"The gig in Newcastle though, except us to come on dressed as PJ and Duncan (from Byker Grove), and have a huge statue of The Angel of the North too. And in Cardiff, we are getting sheep on stage. And Morgan wants to do an impression of that guy from the Automatic, the keyboardist guy with the annoying voice. But management said no. I couldn't think why!"
"The gigs are going to be something different, if you're going, bring a camera, there's talk of Dom getting naked!"
Muse's single 'Knights of Cydonia' is out November 28. 'Black Holes & Revelations' is available now, both on Warner.

Muse! Helping the Disco story

Muse to produce next Panic! LP
Panic! At the Disco's second LP will be produced under the careful eyes and ears of Muse frontman, Matthew Bellamy, the band announced yesterday. "I first spoke to Matt at Reading festival, shortly after our set" claims singer Brendan Urie. "He told us how unlucky we were to be treated by the crowd, and he really enjoyed our set. We soon recieved an email from the Muse management, saying that he wanted to help with our new album in some way, so we invited him over to the studios and played our new demos and he loved them".
The boys also state Muse as a heavy influence for their new album. "Fever [You Can't Sweat Out] had some danceable songs," says Ryan Ross, the band's main lyricist "but we heard Supermassive Black Hole, and thought 'we want to make songs like that'". "Matt's also a very talented pianist, most of my piano on the new LP is influenced by his work and technique", says Brendan, "he has been teaching me new styles and ways to play, and it feels like I'm now becoming him!".
Bellamy has also allowed the band to cover Muse's anthemic 'Hysteria', "although it seems that it will live life as a demo, or perhaps a b-side, it's not good enough to be on the new LP" says Brendan. Panic! release their new LP later this year.
Reaction
Elites didn't believe it, as they were briefed on it beforehand, but with the help of a faked article, the news spread to the official Muse and Panic! at the Disco boards, some music websites, and even Dutch MTV.
