Meilin's Final Fantasy XI Wings of the Goddess Map Replacement Pack.
AS OF MARCH 10TH, 2008 - Yes, Verison Update. I have the beastmen zones ready to launch, need to mark them up. I have found no problems loading and using my maps with the update. Expect v1.3 by Friday night! Ninja edit - I lied. >_> I ended up going to a LS mate's (One of my bestest friends..) house for Brawl. >_>;;; Sorry... >_><_<>_>;;;;;
These maps replace the (insanely) inaccurate maps in the WotG Expansion pack. They include important graphical barriers and quest spots. I'm still working on making them perfect, only time and suggestions can help!

To Install: You need a unraring program, I reccomend Winrar.
- Log out of FFXI. Staying logged in MAY cause your game to crash!
- Open the file, and find the "Extract to.." Menu.
- You want to extract to your FFXI/ROM5/5 folder. For example's sake, mine is located at C:\\Program Files\\PlayOnline\\SquareEnix\\FINAL FANTASY XI\\ROM5\\5
- Hit Extract, and yes to replace them all.
- Log on and enjoy your new maps!

To anyone wary of downloading my maps - I ran my map pack through http://www.virustotal.com. Here are the results. Clean! Each time I update my maps, I'll run them though Virus Total. I'm not here to scam anyone out of an account, I hope this soothes anyones fears!
Backup Files: If for any reason, my maps cause your game to crash, or you are just unhappy with my map pack, I have backed up the entire ROM5/5 Folder, and uploaded it for you to download. Click here to download the backups.
Update Information: 2/14/08 - 1.2 is out! Yay! Updated all maps with campaign outpost locations, and many ???'s, quest markers, ect. Full sweep of zones is comming next. Updated images page with new images, and uploaded the backup folder.
2/8-10/08 - Launched the map pack, includes all zones before the March 08 update. All files have been tested and do not have any ill effects to the FFXI game when installed properly. Sweet! I made something that works!

- Any random ???'s that are involved with a quest, campaign op, or otherwise.
- Headhunting NPC locations!
