Xui-tai Li and her partner Aa Li are the leaders of AHSCA's ally Carnelian Island and honarary citizens of AHSCA.

[edit] Xiu-tai Li
Xiu-tai Li is the daughter of former Carnelian Leaders Myaarisa Li and her Partner Kayiziki Li. The unique elven DNA of the two ladies gave the ability for them to bear her. Myaarisa carried her for 5 months before giving birth (six months is the normal time for an elf). Xiu-tai was officially born on the eve of December 31, 1991.
Growing up to the devoutly communist leader Xiu-tai adopted her parent's belief system while adopting much of her own. At 13 Xiu-tai officially entered the People's Congress. She began traveling around the region writing down her observations and thoughts about the world around her. She published her Creeds of Thought essays world wide at 15. The same year she met her Aa Lin daughter of a congressman. Their parents made an arrangement and they had their first sleep. Feeling a strong bond they both became wedded. For the next four years Xiu-tai and Aa would travel together spreading their messages and thoughts even having debates with each other. Both also helped AHSCA establish a Communist Party, officially The AHSCA Communist Party.
Both lived through the Super Cyclone of 2008. Both recall it was the most horrific experience they had seen.
At 19, Xiu-tai was officially petitioned to take over for her mother and officially Myaarisa resigned to let her daughter and her partner take over. They are the 12th Lesbian couple to rule the nation.
[edit] Aa Li
Aa Li was born in the heat of July 21, 1991 to Cho-Yun Lin and Ai-young Lin. Ai had died in child birth leaving Cho-Yun to raise her. Aa recalls Cho-Yun was fairly cold and unfeeling towards Aa. Aa however was often surrounded by fellow girls so usually she was not very lonely. Aa's neighbor Hai-cho Gong became a surrogate mother. Hai-cho lost her partner to a cyclone a year earlier. Aa spending most of her time grew fairly close with Hai-cho and at age 12 purposed her love to her. Hai-cho could not return her feelings for Aa.
Aa was offered a chance to offer the People's Congress but chose instead to become a rice farmer. Still she remained politically active and alwyas kept tabs on the activities of the People's Congress. After a violent thunderstorm took out her crops Aa pleaded for a tax extension for the season. Xiu-tai Li who was then in charge of the People's Treasury gave a tax pardon to Aa and decided to move in and help Aa with the farm work her self. Aa recalls being taken aback by the stunning beauty of Xiu-tai and in the winter of 2005 they officially slept together. Knowing they were in love, Aa and Xiu-tai wedded in the new year of 2006.
[edit] First Meeting with Shino
In early 2009 after officially entering into their leadership, Xiu-tai officially invited Shino Villa and her family to Carnelian Island. Shino set sail and arrived in Carnelian. They sat down and had a meeting about the relations between them. Although it was set up under her mother's rule, Xiu-tai was very anxious to continue relations with AHSCA as their two nations had so much in common. They also decreed they would be allies and would help each other in times of natural disasters. Both being very subject to hurricanes (or cyclones by the Carnelians) this was important to both Shino and Xiu-tai.
Shino also agreed the Communist Party would be allowed to serve in congress as well as promote their party's ideology with little interference from the state. Xiu-tai also gave high praise for the National Lesbian Party and for Shino for allowing her fellow countrymen so much freedom. Even though they shared different ideologies of government, Xiu-tai admired Shino for sticking to her belief system and for allowing autonomy to the island states. Shino and her family departed after a week long negotiation and Xiu-tai promised a return visit to AHSCA.
[edit] Honorary Citizenship
In September 2009, Xiu-tai Li and Aa Li were granted honary citizenship to the AHSCA Islands as well as to their family. Xiu-tai graciously accepted and asked for a hut to be built for her and Aa. The hut would be given to a family in need while not on the islands. All the islands now have honorary huts for the Carnelian couple, with the exception of Corona which Chief Ayla has offered them a free stay with her should they want to visit.
[edit] Visit to Imperial
Xiu-tai and Aa were graciously invited to a stay in Imperial to honor the births of a young Elven girl in the nation from AHSCA. The trip started off as frosty as the group didn't get along well in the plane but picked up for the better as the families all met together. Both children will be given honorary citizenship in Carnelian Island and AHSCA should they accept it.

Xiu-tai Li recently announced she would adopt several children from around the globe, but mostly in the region of the Communist Beach and from the islands of AHSCA. Having acquired 10 young children including her oldest daughter, Yin-Aah Li who had expressed no interest in taking Chief hood from her mother decided to take up the position.

Xiu-tai has expressed she supports her daughter's choices and still plans to rule Carnelian Island for a while before handing over power. Xiu-tai plans to keep the long lesbian tradition of leadership going. Carnelian Island has had more than a dozen lesbian leaders including Xiu-tai and her partner. Li belives having a lesbian leadership continues to help gays and lesbians around the world and in Carnelian Island.
