The Ta'fiti group is a collection of 3 stars occupying an area of 0.019 square light-year. Ta'fiti, Ta'ka and Ta'ratoa makes up this group. The group is named after the Ta'fiti system which is home to the habitable planet Raui. Raui is inhabited by a humanoid sentient species known as Rauians which achieved a class 7A in the civilization scale approximately 30 years ago and has already sent an artificial satellite into their planet's orbit.

[edit] Ta'fiti

Ta'fiti is a type K orange dwarf of the luminosity class V and home to a planetary system with 4 members. Raui (Ta'fiti III) is a habitable world inhabited by the Rauians. The planet has 1 major moon. The Rauians has achieve a class 7A civilization status about 30 years ago and has just began to place artificial satellites into orbit about 5 years ago.

[edit] Ta'ka

Ta'ka is the closest stellar object to Ta'fiti at a distance of just 0.23LY away. It is hosts to 2 planets lying very close it. Ta'ka is a type M red dwarf star meaning it is a rather cool and dim star. In spite its close distance to Ta'fiti, seeing Ta'ka with the naked eyes could prove difficult due to its dimness. As a red dwarf star it emits mostly infrared lights which can be detected using special telescopes.

[edit] Ta'ratoa

Ta'ratoa is a type L brown dwarf about 0.17LY from Ta'fiti and 0.41LY away from Ta'ka. Because it is a brown dwarf, Ta'ratoa is very dim and mainly emits light in the infrared spectrum. Due to this very little is currently known about this substellar object. Inspite its near distance to Ta'fiti, Ta'ratoa was only discovered less than 50 years ago and no significant studies can be conducted with current technologies. Rauians hope to send a probe to this star in the near future to further study it.
