From The TimeSplitters Wiki

I have a question, that is the sound of the plasma autorifle in TSFP it sounds like it is firing bullets when it fires plasma bolts. on the other hand the SBP 500 fires bullets yet it sounds like it is firing some sort of a laser. Is this a mistake by Free Radical?
