Wendy's

Wendys is a nationwide fast-food chain which has become a cheap source of food for group members. The Wendys most often visited is at approximately the 1500 block of Aurora Avenue North or SR-99. This Wendys has most likely been visited by group members in the pre-group era with their families, but use picked up once group members could drive. Their 99 cent value menu won fans with the group especially the deluxe double stack, 5 piece chicken nuggets, and medium fries. Use really picked up senior year during senior lifetime sports and Imprints class, where group members would frequently mount expeditions to it, up to several times a week. Wendys continued to be used into the college years during breaks when its drive through was open late.
Notable Events
- Sometime mid-year, Andy and Lukas had a contest to see who could eat the most ketchup with a single order of biggie fries. It is not remembered who won, but the judging of the event was sketchy, as it appeared as if Andy had run through more ketchup cups than Lukas, but that Lukas had done a more thorough job cleaning the majority of the ketchup contents of his little cups.
- On numerous instances, a visibly bald employee, who was perhaps the manager at the time, was seen who had the bizarre distinction of having a large bump on the upper part of his skull. He was thus nicknamed "The Unicorn" by XG members.
- On one particular trip taken during Imprints, a young man approached the group members dining in the eat-in area and proceeded to make small talk. At one point, he asked the group members if they "had an XBOX" and then further commented that he "Could beat all y'all any day", to which he left, presumably due to boredom.
