Stuart Holds Onto Richmond Beach Geoduck for Really Long Time

From The Extended Group

The day when Stuart Held Onto a Richmond Beach Geoduck for a Really Long Time started as John Edwards, Stuart Young and Chris Goiney were hanging out some number of years ago. Stuart demanded that the trio make their way to "the Beach" (a segment of Richmond Beach) and go geoduck hunting. John and Chris reluctantly agreed to the proposed trip and they were on their way. Once at the beach, the three friends spotted some small watery holes indicative of geoduck nests. Stuart began digging frantically around the hole while Chris and John sort of helped out. Once the geoduck's fleshy neck was uncovered, Chris and John urged Stuart to "Grab on." Stuart did so while John and Chris slowly dug around the sides of the geoduck. As the minutes wore on, Stuart became increasingly agitated and started to groan with disgust. According to Stuart, the fleshy creature was slippery and hard to hold on to. But Chris and John urged him to keep a tight grip on it while they continued to dig. As his discomfort level rose, Stuart began to accuse John and Chris of "Not actually trying to dig." It was then that Chris decided he needed a digging tool and began to slowly comb the beach in search of a rock or stick suitable for digging. John followed suit. Pain and disgust were clearly etched into Stuart's face as he struggled valiantly against his slippery foe. But sadly, after close to 20 minutes of battling Stuart was forced to let go. As the perturbed geoduck burrowed to safety, a severely frustrated Stuart expressed his displeasure with his comrades for their lackluster assitance.
