Originally featuring the duo of Oracle and the Black Canary, the BoP expanded to include Huntress and a few other characters before, in issue 100, Black Canary quit to chair the Justice League, and Oracle vastly expanded the team to include nearly every single female character in the DCU not already on one. (Although, of course, not every character on team would be sent out on the same mission at once.)
Was first written by Chuck Dixon, then Gail Simone, and is going through a brief period of guest writing by Tony Bedard before being passed to Sean McKeever and then back to Bedard again.
