The contributors of the LDI project want to:

• 1. Find the best way to collectively organizate things on the web.
• 2. Find the best kind of site to do it.
• 3. Study the possibilities of mediawiki sites.

The LDI project starts at Sunday the 6th of August 2006.

Let's launches a wiki on editthis with the name "LDIwiki", the first website of the LDI project. He knows that he will need the help and the ideas of other people to go on, so he decides that the first project added in his site will be "Let's develope the LDI project".

  • Basic structure of an LDI has been written
  • The LDI concept page has been created (similar to the Main page)
• Wiki
  • Wiki events
    • Site has been created
    • Lorenzo joins the project. From now on he helps developping the idea and the website.
    • First independent project has been created!
    • Some LDI proposals have been added
    • Request for hosting wiki made to wikia
    • Name of the LDI changed: from Let's develope the LDI project to Open Project Developing
    • Deem joins and makes his first edit. Now, we have three user.
  • Wiki Publicizing
    • LDIWiki added to list of all wikis of wikipedia: the article (note: will be deleted in 5 days, cathegorized as "Non-notable nearly empty web site, no claim per WP:WEB") - page deleted
    • Added to wikiindex: the article
    • LDIWiki posted on reddit
    • LDIWiki page on Wikiindex revised (new cathegory created: ProjectDevelopment)
      • Igenerator added to the cathegory
  • Wiki quality
    • Main page has been written
    • wiki try created to make graphic proves.
    • templates studied on wiki try
    • Wiki has been completely revised, multilinguality is now possible!
    • Order, LDI finding ease
      • Tables applied on the main page
      • Publicize your LDI edited
    • Guidelines
      • LDI guidelines and LDI questions have been added
        • LDI guidelines have been revised
      • An LDI example has been added
      • A free LDI has been added
      • How to contribute to an LDI edited, How to start an LDI edited
    • Multilinguality
      • With the templates Home, Chooselanguage, and 'introduction/language' (depending on the language).
      • Italian and German main pages edited.
    • Main page moved to Welcome

WIKI ADMIN MOVED TO WIKIA you can make this wiki go on if you want. just write {{Home|Language=English}} in the main page to let it be as it was before stopping. If you'd like to have the administrator's password, write it on my user page: User:Admin, we'll see how I can send it to you.

• Create LDI Continental Main Page for local LDIs project (LDI Europe; LDI North America; LDI Sout America; etc... )(User Let's please see if this is a good point to be made)
