"If you don't want to become piranha food," you shout in your badly-mangled Portuguese, "drop your weapons and carry your cargo aboard our ship."
"No!" roars the Portuguese captain at his men. "I command you to fight!"
"Are you really willing to die for whatever goods your ship is carrying?" you yell.
"You're going to kill us all anyway!" replies the captain.
His crewmen are hesitating, torn between loyalty and survival. Your patience is starting to run thin.
