As much as your curse wants you to stay, your duty as a paladin is far stronger, and you as kindly as you can say, "I'm sorry, but... I can't stay. I hope you understand."

To your surprise, the minotaur actually laughs at your response. "Well, that's a surprise. Usually when your kind gets a taste of minotaur cock, it's all they can think about."

A deep blush spreads across your cheeks, and you turn away from him embarrassed, "Well I mean... I'm not saying... it didn't feel good. I just... have a sworn duty."

The minotaur suddenly turns serious, and says, "Being a paladin means a lot to you."

"It's my life. It's all I've ever known really. God, why am I opening up to you like this?"

"Because you like me?" he asks with a sly grin.

You let out a cute gasp at his comment, and your blush deepens. But you realize that he's right, you do like him. For better or worse, he has shown you pleasures unlike anything you've ever known. It might have been the curse that led you to him, and what made you want him, but it's entirely your choice that you do like him. So you plant a brief kiss on his massive lips.

"Thank you." you tell him, before you close your eyes and drift off to sleep.

By morning, you awake to see the minotuar sitting next to you, gathering a few things together. You run your hand along his chiseled arm, and smile when he lays eyes on you. "Good morning." you say.

He returns your smile, and replies, "Good morning." he then hands you some clothes, "For your trip."

You sit up and take a look at what he gave you. Though nothing like your plate armor, or blessed sword, it's a well made suit of leather armor and a used but sharp short sword. You're quite touched by the effort and blush as you say, "You didn't... have to go to such lengths."

"Let me be the judge of that." he firmly responds.

"I... I don't know what to say. Thank you."

He chuckles and runs his thick fingers through your hair. "Just promise me you'll come visit some time. I'd really like to see you again."

You hold his hand tenderly, and are actually second guessing yourself on whether you should leave or not. "I... think I'd like that too."

After getting cleaned and dressed, you say your goodbyes to the minotaur and the rest of his people, before finding your way back to where you were when attacked by the bandits. With a deep breath, and a quick prayer that your curse is satisfied for now, you head down to the nearby village. Though morning, it's already quite busy, with many of the townsfolk shopping in the main street, along with several adventurers gathered around the quest board nearby. Perhaps you should take one yourself, something simple, to get back into the swing of things.

You look on the board and spot several that might suit you. One is gathering some herbs for the town's doctor. Another is slaying some pesky Kobolds that have taken residence in the nearby forest. The last is escorting someone to the neighboring village for a conference. None of them pay all that well, but look easy enough for you.
