FAQs

How do I go about buying a home?: What a good question, I'm glad you asked! First, write up at least the required single room description. Email that and any other building requests (the other room descs and the layout, the items you want) to me, Versalia. I prefer that it not be attached, but pasted into the body of the email. Then, grab my attention, and when I get a moment I'll review your email. Then, I will ask you to go stand in the room that you would like your home to be linked in and give it final approval. After that, I'll start putting it in!

Do all my doors HAVE to be Hidden now? Does my front door HAVE to be locked?: When you buy an option that applies to multiple things, like all your doors, it's your choice which ones obtain it. All of your doors do not have to be hidden. However, your front door MUST be locked. This is to prevent you from buying really nice furniture and leaving it wide open for the world and your other characters. If you want to let people in without picking the door, buy a Guardian. I've also required people with homes that are 'underground' to spring for the Hidden expansion before building.

Does my room purchase have to be indoors?: Of course not! However, with an outdoor plot of land, you have no walls. Thusly, your house will not be lit at all times, and counts as outdoors. You could still have a locked door, though it may seem odd... By the way, if you have no locked door you cannot own any expansions.

Are there specific locations that houses can be built? Yes and no. Homes can be built in the location of your choice, provided it is reasonably 'residential.' I will give it final approval. You may build outside of a residential zone or immediately outside of a city for an additional fee. Extremely exotic (no close proximity to a city) locations are reserved for clan halls.

Permanent pets aren't available! Yes huh, the vampumpkin is in Brigantes.
