Guardia Castle is the seat of government for the kingdom of Guardia. Its physical location is somewhere in the Loftarasa Mountains, north of Wutai.

History

The first bricks of Guardia Castle were laid around the year 250. It has been renovated and improved a few times since then, EG for the installation of electrical power from Mt. Nibelheim to the south.

Politics

While there is a throne, and Guardia claims to be a Kingdom, there has never been an actual regent since the castle was built. All the actual work of governing is performed by a group of ministers who appoint their successors.
