You weave the spell, although you cannot be certain what it will do, or even if it is a spell. But then, a searing pain snakes across your forearm. You pull up your sleeve in time to see a black tattoo carve itself into your flesh. It forms an image: a man, drowning in the sea.
You sit by the water's edge, watching the waves creep closer. You will never know the secret of Gaddu-Lay...
